Abstract
The level of gynecologic care can directly be related to the degree of cooperation between the clinician and the pathologist. Inadequate communication or understanding of details on the part of either physician will seriously mar any cooperative effort. For communication to be realistic the practicing gynecologist must have a working understanding of gynecologic pathology and the pathologist must learn of the specific clinical problems facing the gynecologist if he or she is to be ideally helpful.
