A User-Centered Approach to Content-Based Retrieval of Medical Images

  • Chapter
Intelligent Multimedia Multi-Agent Systems

Abstract

In chapter 9 we discussed that the challenge of managing huge multimedia digital libraries has turned attention of researchers toward the problem of efficient and effective access to structured data and textual sources as well as media with spatial and temporal properties (e.g., sound, maps, images, video) (Maybury 1995)
