Abstract
HIV/AIDS is the third-leading cause of death among adults ages 25 to 44. As of December 31, 1994, there were 441,528 reported cases of AIDS in the U.S.
This chapter is based on a meeting convened by the Office on AIDS, National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH) on May 5–6, 1992, entitled “Qualitative Analysis of Textual and Focus Group Data”.
