Smart Power Circuits for Power Switches Including Diagostic Functions

  • Chapter

Abstract

Design concepts of smart power switches are described in this paper. Smart power technologies for low-side and high-side switches make it possible to include the diagnostic functions on chip. Also protection circuits, driver circuits and aspects of electromagnetic compatibility are discussed.
