Abstract
A very important approach to finding the steady-state response of a system of differential equations is to formulate a boundary-value problem whose solution is the desired steady-state response. Methods for formulating boundary-value problems for periodic solutions was discussed in Chapter 3 and methods for quasiperiodic solutions will be covered in Chapter 7. This chapter presents two important ways of solving these boundary-value problems.
