Abstract
Percutaneous cholecystolithotomy (PCCL) is a new therapeutic alternative for patients with gallstones. Herein is described in detail the operative technique, and the initial experience with eight patients is presented. Seven patients had successful procedures, and one patient required cholecystectomy because of the inability to access the gallbladder.
