Abstract
The Registry of the European Dialysis and Transplant Association—European Renal Association (EDTA Registry) is an organization that collects information on all patients accepted for treatment by dialysis and transplantation in 33 countries in Europe, along the Mediterranean seaboard, and in North Africa. The Registry collects data from two sources: an individual patient questionnaire completed for each patient accepted onto renal replacement therapy (RRT), and a center questionnaire that requests summary information on the activity of individual dialysis and transplant units throughout Europe.
