Abstract

The technical advances of laparascopy have made the ovaries more accessible to both fine-needle aspiration and tissue biopsy. This has provided an opportunity for study of the neoplastic and non-neoplastic diseases of the ovary, as well as providing information in cases of sterility and ovarian dysfunction.
