Abstract
Endometrium, the normal lining mucosa of the uterus, is found in a variety of ectopic sites (Figures 19.1 and 19.2).10,25,2648,51 Some of the extrauterine locations in which it has been found include (in order of frequency): Ovaries (80% of all pelvic endometriosis) Fallopian tubes, uterus, and cul de sac Uterine ligaments8 Rectovaginal septum
