Abstract
Metastasis is the major concern in the management of cancer (1). While standard chemotherapy has shown promise in the treatment of certain kinds of tumors, its utility has been limited due to toxicity to normal cells (2–3). Recent advances in experimental immunobiology, tumor immunology and cancer metastasis have increased our knowledge concerning the host’s immune response to tumors and the regulation of tumor growth (4–5). These advances have also initiated new approaches in the diagnosis and treatment of cancer (6).
