Abstract
The data to be described are from the Fels Longitudinal Study which has been conducted in Southwestern Ohio since 1929 and from the Denver Study which was conducted in Colorado from 1930 to 1968. In each of these studies, the participants are generally of middle socioeconomic status and almost all are white. Data from participants with serious diseases have not been included in the analyses. Where appropriate, the distributions have been normalized before analysis.
