Abstract
Early (microscopic) de novo ovarian cancer (arising from surface epithelium or its inclusions) can be fatal and may be undetectable by present day screening approaches. Further study of these lesions using the newer molecular based techniques is important, to throw more hght on the mechanism of development of these incipient cancers and for the evolution of novel approaches to their detection.
