Abstract

Recently the resonant interaction of the intense laser radiation with the matter has become more and more important. The well known progress in the research, development and commercial production of continuously tunable lasers created a possibility to carry out selective photoprocesses and use them practically. The most convincing results in the realization of selective processes have been gained for laser isotope separation generally reviewed in many good review papers. It is sufficient to mention here the papers published by such a well known journal as “Uspekhi Fizicheskikh Nauk”/1–4/.
