Abstract
Scaphoid ear is a mild defect of the 3–4 hillocks. It consists of a large, extended, and flattened scapha, with a diminished helical roll at the upper pole. The upper auricular third is large; in fact the whole ear is large; but the lower two-thirds are normal. The disproportion is obvious, and the lack of harmony is also without delicacy. Somehow, it seems the inverse of lop ear. It is frequently associated with prominent ear and also with other minor ear anomalies.
