N-P Capture and the Photo-Disintegration of the Deuteron

  • Chapter

Abstract

Recent experiments on n-p radiative capture at thermal energies, including the study of double-photon decay, and on the photo-disintegration of the deuteron are discussed. Comparisons between the results and contemporary theories are made whenever they are meaningful. Suggestions for some necessary experiments for the future are made.
