Abstract
High-energy neutrino experiments can be expected to give important insight into both the structure of hadronic matter (because of the point-like nature of the collisions, or the equivalent statement, the high mass of the intermediate boson, if it exists), and also into the structure of the weak interactions. Among the more striking past results have been a) the discovery that there must be at least two neutrinos1); b) the discovery of neutral weak currents2); c) the demonstration that, at least at relative low energies, scaling and the quark parton models are resonable approximations; and d) the discovery of dileptons and their probable association with a new family of particles 3)4).
