Abstract
Vietnam and Cambodia are discussed together, since they share the Delta and floodplains of the Lower Mekong Basin and have similar cropping practices and deepwater rices. The smaller rice culture of the Red River Delta in northern Vietnam is described in the last part of the chapter.
