Abstract
This paper firstly discusses the architecture on inter-enterprise collaborative design and manufacturing. Secondly, it discusses synchronous and asynchronous collaboration for collaborative design and manufacturing. Then, a tool set for collaborative design and manufacturing by means of audio/video multimedia facilities is conceived and a case study is given.
This paper is based on a project supported by NFR (Norwegian Research Council).
