About this series
Historical archaeology is no longer a narrowly provincial, American field. Historical archaeologists are now conducting research across the globe, in Latin America, Asia, the Pacific, Africa, and Europe. Without doubt, historical archaeology will be one of the most rapidly expanding archaeological fields during the coming years.
In light of this burgeoning interest, this book series is designed as a venue for works that focus on historical archaeology throughout the world. Historical archaeology is defined here as the archaeology of the post-1415 (or modern) era rather than as a methodology.
