About this book series

The Urban Computing book series publishes high-quality research content devoted to the study and applications of computing technology in urban areas. The main scope is on current scientific developments and innovative techniques in urban computing, bringing to light methods from computer science, statistics, urban planning, health care, engineering, anthropology, geography and other fields that directly address urban problems using computer-based strategies. All book proposals are peer-reviewed by either the editorial board members or by ad hoc reviewers. Book types can be research monographs, edited books, graduate-level textbooks or reference works (encyclopedias, handbooks). This series accepts book proposals from all over the world. Prospective authors do not need to be members of the Brazilian Computer Society (SBC).
