About this series
There are ever increasing demands made upon health services, with greater numbers of patients, increasing health care needs, and new ways of delivering care. The challenge is educating and training nurses for the future delivery of health and social care needs, wherever they are, and wherever care is delivered. This series contributes to the growth and development of knowledge about, and approaches to, educating and training nurses. Each book in the series provides a forum for the exchange of ideas, commentary and critical discourse in relation to a contemporary nursing issue or teaching method. These volumes are essential reading for anyone with a responsibility for training or supervising nurses, whether in the classroom or on clinical placements.
