About this book series

The coverage of the series include first and foremost American federal, state, and local governments, especially since the early 20th century; but it will also include typical and representative foreign governments at the national, subnational, and local levels. The series is designed as a concentrated examination of the successes, lessons, and theoretical distillations out of the implementation of modern public budgeting and fiscal administration, thereby as a celebration of the centennial of executive budgeting (since the 19102 to 1921) in the United States. Though there have been many other books on budgeting and public finance, this series stands out as a unique set not seen in any other books.
