About this book series

This Partially Ordered Systems series includes graduate texts and research monographs dealing with systems in microscopic, mesoscopic or macroscopic scales, which do not have full long-range spatial or orientational order. The systems include complex liquids and soft matters such as liquid crystals, micelles, microemulsions, colloids, membranes, molecular crystals, quasicrystals, granular materials, and disordered systems. The series covers the structures and properties of these partially ordered systems as well as their formation processes such as percolation, the formation of fractals and spatiotemporal patterns.

Discontinued series: although this series no longer publishes new content, the published titles listed here remain available.
