Reviews

“This is a volume past due as it is a groundbreaking and comprehensive study of leadership in more than 10 countries in Asia across a wide range of industrial sectors and organization types.  The editors skillfully combine the conceptual and empirical providing guidance for both academics and practitioners and offering a roadmap for future leadership volumes in other non-Western areas.” Claire A. Simmers, Ph.D., Professor Emeritus)

“I am delighted to discover this timely publication which will both challenge and inform its readers. Leadership is an activity at the heart of increasing living standards and productivity of enterprises; it reflects cultural diversity and is a cultural activity.” (John Miller, Professor and Officer in the Order of Australia, Australia)

“This important work offers a framework for action bringing out the positives as well as confronting the negatives to leadership reform. The variety of situations it examines makes compelling reading and is a factual reflection of the diversity Asia offers.” (Alan Gregory, Professor of Education, Monash University and Member of the Order of Australia, Australia)
