Reviews

Contain[s] a wealth of case studies and research papers ... Recommended for major technical reference libraries. - Chemical Processing SA; Presents a valuable overview of R&D in energy efficient unit operations in Europe ... should feature in the libraries of all organizations who wish to gain an insight into the operation of CEC [Commission of the European Communities] programmes in this area, and the current direction which the R&D is taking. - Heat Recovery Systems & CHP; Before too long, as demand again matches supply, energy efficiency will become as important as it was ten years ago. Chemical engineers and those who direct their activities will be well advised to refer now to this book ... Editor and organiser Peter Pilavachi has reason to be pleased with the result ... I was pleased to have read it, and by the end I had noted several papers for further reference or to show to my colleagues. - The Chemical Engineer
