Introduction

This book contains a selection of the best papers of the 29th Benelux Conference on Artificial Intelligence, BNAIC 2017, held in Groningen, The Netherlands, in November 2017. 
The 11 full papers presented in this volume were carefully reviewed and selected from 30 submissions. They address various aspects of artificial intelligence such as natural language processing, agent technology, game theory, problem solving, machine learning, human-agent interaction, AI and education, and data analysis.
