The known literature on viral infections in children is summarized and discussed in the light of changes in thinking as a result of novel and new evidence.

Reviews

“An updated text reviews knowledge on present and emerging viral infections. Each of the 8 chapters reviews epidemiology, diagnosis, clinical management and prevention. With many very useful tables and illustrations. For pediatricians and epidemiologists.” (Pediatric Endocrinology Reviews, Vol. 15 (2), December, 2017)
