The book is divided into 2 parts. Part I covers the basic principles of Statics and Dynamics, from the concept of a particle to a study of connected rigid bodies. Part II shows how the concepts of Part I may be developed for a wide range of applications. Each chapter ends with a brief summary of the key points it has covered.
