The major part of the book is illustrated with magnificent photographs and diagrams depicting every step of a particular procedure. Instruments are clearly shown and have been photographed from both outside and inside the body. Chapters demonstrate accepted laparoscopic techniques that are the new gold standard in urology.

About the editors
He served as the Director of the Center for Robotic and Computer-assisted Surgery at The Ohio State University Medical Center for three years, where he was also an Associate Clinical Professor of Urology and Associate Professor of Bioinformatics. He is the founder of the Society of Robotic Surgery, the founder and Editor-in-chief of The Journal of Robotic Surgery. Dr Patel received Honorary Professorships from Korean University, the Asian School of Urology and the College of Medicine, and Ricardo Palma University in Lima, Peru.
Dr. M. Ramalingam is an Urologist in Pappanaickenpalayam, Coimbatore and has an experience of 40 years in this field. Dr. M. Ramalingam practices at Urology & Andrology Clinic in Pappanaickenpalayam, Coimbatore.
Dr. Ramalingam is a member of Indian Medical Association (IMA). Some of the services provided by him are: Transurethral Resection of The Prostate (TURP), Urogynecology, Transplantation, Haematuria and Urinary Incontinence Surgery etc.
