“The reference is geared toward ‘practicing and academic physicians, investigators, and trainees (residents or fellows) in infectious diseases, infection control, public health, and global health.’ Reading the book, it seems most appropriate for practicing physicians or trainees at the level of fellowship. … I would consider this book an excellent reference for discussing recent trends and changes in the field of infectious diseases.” (David S Quimby, Doody’s Book Reviews, July 3, 2020)
