Broadband communications is widely recognized as one of the key technologies for building the next generation global network infrastructure to support ever-increasing multimedia applications. Broadband Communications represents the selected proceedings of the Fifth International Conference on Broadband Communications, sponsored by the International Federation for Information Processing (IFIP) and held in Hong Kong in November 1999.
The book is organized according to the eighteen technical sessions of the conference.
