Abstract
A software system for automating the process of configuring gas-turbine power plant generators is studied. The system allows automation of certain configuration steps and shortens the time of performing the configuring task. The mathematical model takes into account the behavior of both the gas-turbine power plant and synchronous generator, which allows configuring the parameters of the gas-turbine unit based on the dynamics of the electrical part in the gas-turbine power plant. The regulator’s settings automatically take into account the parameters of the electric power system, reflecting the influence of the gas-turbine unit and synchronous generator on each other. As a result, the estimated time of configuring is reduced by a factor of at least 3.
