Abstract

The one-dimensional non-relativistic ion-acoustic soliton capable of trapping relativistic electrons described by the Maxwell–Jüttner distribution is considered in themodel of plasma with cold ions. It is shown that the solutions obtained are intermediate between R. Z. Sagdeev soliton (1964) and A.V. Gurevich soliton (1968).
