Rapid crystallization of copper on the own liquid substrate

Abstract

The phenomenon of rapid crystallization of metals in low-temperature laser plasma is described. Possiblemechanism of the crystallization on the melt surface formed upon laser exposure is described. The major factors affecting the crystallization process are analyzed.
