Effect of modifiers on mechanical properties of polymer-based composite materials

Abstract

In this paper, we present the experimental results on the study of mechanical properties of polymer-based nanocomposite materials with carbon nanotube or ultradisperse diamond inclusions. Tests are performed by nanoindentation methods. The results obtained for nanocomposites and a polymer used as a matrix in nanocomposites are compared.
