Nuclear Temperature and its Dependence on Target Mass in Low Energy Fission

  • Published:
Bulletin of the Russian Academy of Sciences: Physics Aims and scope

Abstract

Nuclear temperatures for low energy fission were extracted by means of the isotopic thermometry using both the standard treatment and an advanced procedure exploiting temperature distributions. The dependence of the temperature on the mass of the fissioning nuclei, established by the above methods, differs from such for other processes.
