Abstract

This article describes the service trends of information services that are intended to attract users: the remote maintenance of users through modern information and communication technologies; “embedding” service in the reader’s core business; and increased comfort services in libraries and information institutions. It emphasizes the importance of the cooperation of libraries with businesses in order to provide organizational and technological support of service changes.
