Improving Pipeline Manufacture

Abstract

By simultaneous expansion of the ends of two connected pipes in the same tool and subsequent welding in the deformed state, it is possible to prevent the formation of steps that increase the hydraulic pressure, with corresponding gains in pipeline quality.
