Abstract

Once-daily insulin glargine [HOE 901] effectively controls blood glucose levels in patients with type 1 and 2 diabetes mellitus and is associated with a lower risk of hypoglycaemia, according to the results of studies presented at the 35th Annual Meeting of the European Association for the Study of Diabetes [ Brussels, Belgium; September-October 1999 ].
