Abstract

The results of recent trials with interferon-γ and topical tacrolimus suggest that these 2 treatments may improve upon current therapeutic options for atopic dermatitis. The results of the studies were presented at the Joint Meeting of the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology, the American Association of Immunologists and the Clinical Immunological Society [ San Francisco, US; February 1997 ].
