Abstract
The practice of pharmacoeconomics is growing. Companies are responding to government policies on drug pricing by increasing the resources allocated to this discipline. Being a reasonably new area, there are still a number of teething problems, some of which were addressed at the 6th IMS European Symposium held in Brussels, Belgium, in November.
