Pharmaceutical care: the treatment model for the 1990s

Abstract

A top priority for the American Society of Hospital Pharmacists (ASHP) is the implementation of ‘pharmaceutical care’: a new practice model that will redirect services to focus on patient care rather than products. This was a recurrent theme at the 50th Annual Meeting of the ASHP, held in Denver, US, on June 6th-10th, 1993.
