Abstract
Present calculations of the Cowley-Warren SRO parameters, using the Rasolt-Taylor-Dagens, first principles pair potential for Li-Mg alloys show that the higher order terms of Tahir-Keli’s intermediate-temperature solution of the Ising, spin-1/2 ferromagnet modify the Clapp and Moss, high-temperature solution in a very significant way. The present results are compared to previous calculations and measurements on Li-10 at.% Mg and Li-50 at.%Mg alloys.
