With reference to the above mentioned article [J. Mater. Res. 22, 3501 (2007)], we would like to correct the hardness value written in the sixth column, first row (corresponding to H (GPa) value of sample 1) in TABLE I (page 3504) to 32.1 ± 0.4 from 42.1 ± 0.4.
