New plural-component sprayers for fire protection coatings

Epoxy fire protection coatings insulate steel structures from high temperatures in the event of fires involving materials containing hydrocarbons or cellulose. Critical uses of this kind require application systems for the coatings which provide precise mix ratios. The XM PFP plural-component sprayer from Graco is designed to give maximum productivity, excellent performance and accurate mix ratios. As the mix ratio is adjustable, expensive conversion work between orders where different coatings are used is no longer required. The data reports provided via the USB interface allow for highly effective quality assurance processes. In addition, new temperature control units and heating systems improve spray performance and increase productivity. This enables users to atomise coating materials at the lowest possible pressure, which reduces waste and overspray.
