No Lubrication Required
In order to make conveyor systems run more smoothly, their rails are often lubricated. This causes particles of dirt to adhere to the rails, which can contaminate the parts being transported. Conveyors that require no lubrication allow parts to be moved without contamination and cut operating costs.
Conveyor systems in coating units have to meet a number of different requirements. In the pre-treatment area it is damp, in the blasting zone it is dusty, in the paint shop there are explosion-proof areas and in the dryers the temperature can be as high as 240 °C. The conveyor system has to be able to accommodate all these varying conditions. In addition, it must need little maintenance and operate as quietly as possible.
