Surface structure and reactivity of V-oxide species at the catalyst-support interface

Abstract

The use of combined physico-chemical techniquss provides a detailed characterization on a molecular scale of the structure of V-oxide species on an oxide support and indicates that the support is not inert, but may be drastically altered by interaction with overlying oxide.
