Reply to the Commentary by E.M. Terentjev and M. Warner on “Mechanical properties of mono-domain side-chain nematic elastomers”

We argue that all dynamic mechanical experiments on side-chain liquid-crystalline elastomers performed up to now can be described without invoking the picture of dynamic soft or semi-soft elasticity.
