Abstract

Welding practice by advanced welding materials for load-bearing elements of metal-concrete containers for transportation and long-term storage of spent nuclear fuel is developed and implemented in industry. A high cold resistance for a weld metal and a heat-affected area of welded joints is provided in the initial state and after thermal processing.
