Abstract

The main types of light-weight aggregates used in the composition of sandwich structures of articles of aircraft engineering and in other industrial branches—honeycomb aggregates, foam plastic, and polymer sphere plastic—are reviewed. Results of tests of a new high-strength ether cyanate sphere plastic and sandwich structures are presented.
